Gelfish

Despite the name, the gelfish (jel - fish) is not a fish at all - it is merely a floating sentient blob. As you can see by looking at this one, gelfish are slightly translucent. We have yet to figure out why this is significant, but it does let us see some of its insides! (*gross*) These guys float along eating plant life, and have been known to occasionally eat parts of themselves or one another. (*ewww*) This isn't a problem since gelfish can slowly regenerate themselves and even add to their own size by collecting more blob-matter. The size of a gelfish is limited, however, by the ability of its organs to sustain it. For this reason, most gelfish remain relatively small.

For our last stop in the Aquarium we'll go from really small to REALLY BIG!!

Have you missed any Imagitoons Zoo creatures? Keep up HERE!
