The "thunder claw" is named after it's famed tiny arms. At the end of each one, there is a claw, much like a crab or shrimp's claw. This claw serves the same purpose as the Earth bound pistol shrimp. The thunder claw is able to create a loud "POP" sound using its claws, stunning its prey.
